In 2003, the City of Chicago Department of Buildings revised City Ordinance 34. It requires that buildings over 80 feet in height adopt a biannual program of exterior building inspections and that they have a “critical” inspection performed every four to 12 years, depending on the building’s type of construction. Our firm has completed numerous critical façade inspections on buildings of various sizes.

As experienced peer reviewers, we know that the role of the reviewer may require as much flexibility as that of the designer. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to the needs of each client on a case-by-case basis while maintaining a high level of thorough review. We know that with a pragmatic attitude, we assist the owner and design team in the implementation of peer review concepts. We also off other specialized services on a range of projects.
