Critical Façade Inspection

Project Overview

Perry & Associates was brought on to do a Critical Façade Inspection for this tall apartment building. This inspection included the review previously submitted Critical Façade reports,  a visual survey and photo documentation of each building elevation, 38 drops for a close-up examination of 100% of the exterior façade (including the observation of 24 destructive openings), identification of any potential unsafe conditions that may exist based on findings from close-up visual examinations, development of future general inspection and repair recommendations, and preparation of a signed and sealed engineering report of our findings in accordance with the City of Chicago Building Code requirements.
