Critical Façade Inspection

Project Overview

Perry & Associates was brought on to do a Critical Façade Inspection. This inspection included the review previously submitted Critical Façade reports,  a visual survey and photo documentation of each building elevation, a visual survey of the fire escapes, one representative drop at each principal street-facing elevation and review one destructive inspection opening at each drop to be made by a masonry contractor as required by Code, identification of any potential unsafe conditions that may exist based on findings from close-up visual examinations, development of future general inspection and repair recommendations, and preparation of a signed and sealed engineering report of our findings in accordance with the City of Chicago Building Code requirements.
