Bring your 3-7 years of experience and participate in building design and drafting of residential, commercial, industrial and educational facilities while developing your expertise under the direct mentoring of licensed lead engineers. This opportunity will expand your knowledge base by establishing training to assist in obtaining SE licensure. Experience in AutoCAD a plus.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer who is looking to advance their career. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, this position requires proficiency with structural design software and an ability to learn additional programs as required. Project management experience as it relates to cost and schedule analysis is preferred.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use sophisticated analysis tools to provide innovative and economical conceptual steel solutions, including schematic design, cost, and schedule information with special emphasis on multi-story residential structures, parking structures and office buildings.
- Will be responsible for preparation of design and analysis, calculations, construction documents; perform site visits and submittal reviews.
- Assist principal and senior staff on projects as needed.
